We realise that many independent companies based in the South West need a facility to use when travelling to London for meetings with commissioners and clients so we have put together a proposition which we hope will really benefit SMEs from the region.

What is it?
Fully equipped (just bring your laptop) hot desk office spaces which we are making available to companies on a flexible basis. A simple, cost-effective solution to your office needs - no long contracts, no tedious admin - just flexible hot desking office space rentable by the hour, day or by block booking.
The centre is equipped with the latest technology, including free WiFi broadband. And with state-of-the-art meeting rooms available on a pay-as-you-use basis at 20% discount on normal rates, you'll be able to impress your clients with a highly professional working environment too.

What does it cost?

All new users will pay a one off Registration Fee of £25 (plus VAT) - this includes 2 hours of hotdesking space free.
Then the following rates apply (plus VAT):

  • Per hour £9
  • Block of 4 hours £35
  • Block of 8 hours £60
  • Block of 16 hours £112
  • Block of 40 hours £240
  • Block of 160 hours £920

The hours purchased are valid for 6 months - you do not need to use them at the same time - eg if you buy 8 hours you could use 1 hour a week for 8 weeks, or 2 hours a week for 4 weeks etc. A receipted VAT invoice will be issued upon receipt of your payment.
To purchase hours, simply register online here then all you need to do is turn up and work.

 

Meeting Rooms
A range of meeting rooms are available for hire by the hour from 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday and we have negotiated a 20% discounted rate. To book meeting rooms through South West Screen you must be a registered user. A variety of spaces are available from small interview rooms to large board rooms, rates start at £16 per hour.

Additional services
We can also offer South West companies a London 'Virtual Office' service, giving you access to a prestigious London business address in the heart of Soho, London W1 and / or a telephone answering service.

For options 1, 2 and 3 you will need to pay in addition to the monthly fee a refundable deposit of £100 and a yearly membership of £49.99 + VAT.

FAQs

  1. Why should I opt for this rather than organising my own hotdesking space direct?
    We have bulk bought a package of hours allowing us to pass these hours on to companies from the South West with total flexibility: were you to go direct to the office provider, you would have to pay a substantial registration fee as well as an hourly hire rate. South West Screen is subsidizing the scheme in the sense that we have taken on the risk - bulk buying a large quantity of hours of space in advance so that we can pass on the flexibility to you.
  2. Why do I have to pay a registration fee?
    The one-off registration fee of £25 includes two hours' hot-desking use so the actual cost of just £7 covers our administration costs as well as contributing to printing and photocopying costs (within reason) which we are not asking you to pay for on an ongoing basis.
  3. What if I need to cancel my booking?
    If you need to cancel a booking please email londonoffice@swscreen.co.uk with at least 24 hours' notice.
  4. How much notice do I have to give to book space?
    Once you have registered you can block book a series of hours and then turn up when you like. The hours you visit will be recorded by the receptionist. Meeting rooms will need to be booked in advance.
  5. How do I book?
    To register and book hours simply complete the online booking form here.
  6. How do I pay?
    You pay online at the time of booking with a credit or debit card.
