Tradeshow Access Programme

South West Screen is proud to be an Accredited Trade Association (ATO) administering UK Trade and Investment / Tradeshow Access Programme (TAP) funding for UK film, TV and digital media companies exhibiting at key international trade markets.

Taking part in overseas exhibitions is an effective way for companies to test markets, attract customers, appoint agents or distributors and make sales. UKTI's TAP provides grant support for eligible SME's to attend trade shows overseas, and participation is usually as part of a group of UK businesses led by an ATO.

  • To be eligible for funding companies must be defined as "New To Export".
  • The eligibility status of companies must be confirmed by the ITA (International Trade Advisor) in the region of the applicant.
  • The max value of the grant is either GDP 1,000, 1,400 or 1,800 subject to the exhibition.
  • There is a life time limit of six grants per eligible company.

TAP can also accommodate a smaller number of participating businesses wishing to exhibit at trade shows where there is no ATO led group, on an independent or solo basis. Grant amounts for solo applications are £1,000.
