With increasing demand to format content for multiplatform, multipurpose delivery, this hands-on technical workshop looks at:
• File optimisation for quality playback through a range of delivery platforms
• The best way to re-version or multi-version files
• How to brief colleagues and advise clients
• Planning and shooting for optimum workflow.
Following on from the workshop, you will have 2 months of additional online support, including online guidance from your tutor, email support and access to a dedicated user group. This gives you the chance to apply your new learning in the workplace, putting theory into practise with the benefit of a tutor and peer group to support you.
This workshop is of particular benefit to multi-skilled technical and craft practitioners from TV and digital media such as Camera Operators, Editors, Assistant Editors, and self-shooting/editing production staff.

Workshop Leader: Simon Walker
Simon is an Apple Certified Final Cut Studio Master Trainer, and trains industry professionals in editing, motion graphics, colour grading, audio sweetening, DVD and Blu-ray authoring and video compression.
He has been filming, editing, designing and animating short-films, adverts, interactive programs and motion graphics sequences for 15 years. He has a post-production studio with capabilities to film and edit, shoot and composite green/blue screen footage and design 2D and 3D animations.
Alongside marketing theory, Simon uses his technical skills to develop information dissemination through such media as Internet, Intranet, DVD, Blu-ray, video and podcasting. He has a grasp on the industry need for using the current technology for reaching target groups, and uses his real-world production experience to write, edit and produce custom training packages for the media industry
He trains on both Windows and Mac platforms using the Adobe CS4 Production Premium and Final Cut Studio suites. He has also written and produced two award-winning interactive training packages for Somerfield PLC through his production company www.WiltshireVideo.com.

Adobe: After Effects, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Flash, Director, Encore.
