Lead from the Front

Are You a New or Aspiring Manager in Creative Media? Have you recently started up a creative company? Or are you managing people for the first time? South West Screen has worked with Train to Gain and colleges from Skillset’s North by Southwest Media Academy to tailor short business qualifications and units to meet your needs. Focusing on management and leadership skills for creative media, these workshops have been specially re-designed just for you – they understand your industry and speak your language.

Hi Definition Camera and Editing Workshops - May 2010.

Build your own Creative Media MA!

The following courses are accredited by Skillset as Skillset Media Academies' CPD Short Courses. Each course offers you the chance to get 20 credits at Master's level so, if you want, you can put a number together and gain a recognised MA:

Multi-Platform Deliverables,
Storytelling Across Platforms,
Managing A Media Business,
Editing Craft Skills.

 

 

Mediabox

Various deadlines
If you're 13 to 19 years old and live in England, Mediabox can give you the opportunity to develop and produce creative media projects for film, television, radio, online and multi media platforms. Mediabox is for you to express your opinions, ideas and views, gain new skills and get your voices heard.

The  next round of Mid Mediabox opens on Friday February 26th, the deadline for Stage 1 submissions is April 8th.
