Hurrah!!
Now have a session booked at Films@59 for the editing of the loops for the exhibition (thanks to Miles) and have arranged for the subtitling for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing to be done by European Captioning Institue (thanks to Hayley) and both are exchanging emails with Ignition, the exhibition designers, (thanks to Esther) to ensure that everyone's working on the same format. Hopefully if there's enough left over in the budget we can get an additional loop edited for copying to DVDs to send to the 100 odd schools who have registered for BAC 100 and maybe add substitles to the clips that are on the BAC 100 website. Looking more positive again!

HELP!!!
We're in desperate need of locating an editor who can create the loops of clips for the BAC 100 exhibition and has access to Bright Sign Media Players. We've found a few interested freelancers who can do the editing if it was DVD but don't have the facilities for this particular player specificed by the museum. Have been sending messages to Films@59 over the last few weeks but had no response and time is ticking far too fast for our liking! Suggestions please.

Thanks.

BAC 100 Website Updated
We've added some more films to the BAC 100 website and redesigned the "front page". New material includes lovely footage of workers hurrying through the gates at Bristol Siddeley in early 1960s. http://www.bac2010.co.uk/film_clip_1.htm

BAC 100 Website
Currently testing the extended BAC 100 website (www.bac2010.co.uk) which goes live on 19 February and includes digital film clips about aviation in the West of England. We will be adding to the film page during the course of the year as more material is discovered and made available, as well as showing digital extracts at the BAC 100 exhibition at Bristol's City Museum and Art Gallery in the autumn.
