South West Screen works with a variety of partners to broaden opportunities for audiences and filmmakers alike.

We support film exhibitors and festivals in the South West - from local festivals in rural communities to those with a national and international focus.

We aim to increase opportunities to watch specialised film. We also help exhibitors across the South West to show a wide range of content, including locally produced work.

Examples of recent projects include:

• Support for the South West Group of the British Federation of Film Societies for targeted development of film societies and other community cinema ventures in areas where provision is low.
• Support for South West exhibitors of the Digital Screen Network in seeking funding
• Facilitating a network to allow more opportunities to screen short films produced in the region
