Are you a storyboard artist looking to up-skill?
Have you previously worked in the animation industry and are now looking to retrain as a storyboard artist?
South West Screen and Aardman Animations are offering a unique opportunity for up to ten people to become experts in storyboarding through a highly specialised training course at Aardman's film studio in Bristol.
ANIMATION BRIDGE: STORYBOARDING FROM START TO FINISH
21 April 2008 - 13 June 2008 (8 weeks full time training)
Cost: £500 per trainee
Animation Bridge is a model piloted by Aardman Animations and South West Screen in 2006 with stop motion key animators transferring to CG production. The principles have now been applied to storyboard training and a new two-part programme has been developed.
Animation Bridge: Storyboarding From Start to Finish is an intensive 8 week course tutored by Frank Gladstone, ex-Head of Training and Artistic Development at Disney and Dreamworks Animation, Aardman Animations and top UK trainers, aimed at helping professionals hone their skills, develop their craft, artistic interpretation and cine literacy.
