We are pleased to offer a new 4-week intensive course (delivered over 20 days) specifically created to develop and enhance skills in Art Direction and the use of Computer Aided Design (C.A.D).

The course will feature components in the techniques of drafting and technical drawing, the transference of those skills into a CG environment using AutoCAD and the use of the 3D modelling and animation package Maya (specifically for set creation and design).

The course will be led by Sarah Hauldren, an experienced Art Director for both live action film and TV, and animation at Aardman Animations.

This full time course starts in Bristol on Monday 12 November and is open to a maximum of 10 participants. With the support of South West Screen and Skillset the cost of the course is heavily subsidised, enabling us to offer the course at only £500 per student.

The course is geared towards industry professionals who have some experience of working within an Art Department and who primarily want to enhance their skills, progressing towards an Assistant Art Director or Art Director role.
