The day will be launched with a keynote by Iain Dale, one of Britain's leading political commentators and a regular contributor and presenter on TV and radio. A prominent blogger, he was recently voted one of the top 50 people in online journalism by the Press Gazette. He will examine, amongst other things, the opportunities afforded by the internet for participation in debate and the ways in which these can be harnessed to ensure that we can all have a say.

10.45am - Panel 1: News
The News Panel will be hosted by Nick Roddick, film journalist. It will focus on how the news is changing and the how the internet offers new opportunities to contribute to stories through citizen journalism, blogging, comment and forums. The panel so far has confirmed contributions from Martin Fewell: Deputy Editor of C4 News, Vicky Frost: Deputy Editor of Media Guardian, and Iain Dale: Political Blogger.

Delegates will be split into four groups to undertake a hands-on workshop of their choice. Click on the links for more information on each of the workshops:

1.15pm - Lunch break
Lunch time will be extended to give delegates the chance to experience the lively debates that will be generated by the Chew TV Table. A uniquely interactive device that will be pre-loaded with media to inspire live comment and debate about the issue of online safety, the Chew Table will bring debates about the virtual environment into the real world.

14.45pm - Panel 2: Emerging Platforms in Film and TV
The panel will again be hosted by Nick Roddick. They will explore the myths/facts around the idea that TV is dying and that online and interactive media is set to take its place. We have so far confirmed Charlotte Black: Head of Talent at C4, Paul Tarplee: MD of TwoFour Digital, Derren Lawford: Multiplatform Editor of Panorama (BBC) and Simon Hankin: Holler the Digital Agency for 'Skins'.

15.30pm - Showcase: Young people's work
The afternoon will feature a screening of work designed by young campaigners, media makers and community activists to make us sit up and listen to what they have to say. A call was put out across the UK for work that was made to tell the stories that really matter to a wide range of young people from diverse backgrounds. Those that were judged by other young people to be most effective in their attempt to persuade, inform, cajole and charm us will be screened on the day.

16.30pm - Round up
Closing conversation and Q&A session.

17.00pm - Finish
